Headlamp

Q: Why does the headlamp fail to activate or reach the highest brightness level at first use?

A: 1. Please remove the insulation film ( if any) before use.

2. Make sure the battery is inserted in the correct direction as indicated.

3. The product may be in lockout mode. Please try unlocking it (refer to the user manual).

4. The battery may be low. It is recommended to fully charge it before first use.

Q: Why does the brightness decrease?

A: When the light is on, the headlamp will automatically regulate the output according to the working condition and ambient environment to prevent overheating and prolong battery life.

Q: Why does the headlamp step down, dim or shut off during use?

A: Please check for the following possible issues:

1. Battery condition ( try replacing it with a regular battery for testing)

2. Insufficient battery level

3. Inadequate battery discharge capability

4. Loose battery compartment cap or connected charging cable

5. Contaminated positive or negative contact points of the battery or headlamp

6. Sensor Protection Function is activated.

Q: Why does the light flicker abnormally during use?

A: 1. Check whether any special mode is activated.

2. Ensuring the battery level is sufficient.

3. Verify Whether the battery springs are rusted or make poor contact.

Q: Why does the brightness decrease under low-temperature environments?

A: Low temperatures slow down the chemical reactions in Li-ion batteries, reducing output current. This effect is temporary, and the battery discharge capability will recover once the temperature increases. Please note that prolonged storage in low-temperature environments may damage Li-ion batteries.

Q: Can the headlamp be left in a car for an extended period?

A: Not recommended. Exposure to direct sunlight inside a vehicle may cause battery combustion or explosion due to overheating.

Q: Can the headlamp be used underwater?

A: The headlamp is not a professional diving device and should not be used underwater for extended periods.

Q: How to avoid accident activation?

A: Please take any of the following measures to avoid accidental activation:

1. Remove the battery.

2. Activate the lockout mode.

3. Store the headlamp in a storage case or stuff sack.

Q: How to deal with moisture in the battery compartment?

A: Wipe or air-dry the battery compartment before closing to prevent corrosion or short circuit.

Q: Can I use batteries from other brands?

A: It is recommended to use original batteries purchased through authorized channels to ensure optimal product performance.

Q: What if my headlamp needs maintenance or repair?

A: DO NOT disassemble or modify the product. For service or replacement, please contact NITECORE®.

Power Solution

Q: Why does the power bank deliver fewer charges than expected?

A: Due to battery and circuit design, some energy loss during power conversion is normal. In addition, low temperatures may reduce lithium battery discharge performance, lowering the power bank's output.

Q: Why doesn't the power bank fully charge my device?

A: Generally, the device will switch to trickle charging near the end of the charge cycle to prolong its battery life. If the trickle current is too low, the power bank may automatically enter sleep mode. This is normal when charging device with small batteries, such as wireless earphones, sports watches, or fitness bands. In this case, refer to the user manual to enable the low-current mode. Some products also support automatic low-current charging.

Q: Is it normal for the product or device to get warm during charging?

A: Some heat generation is normal due to energy loss during power conversion. Our products are equipped with temperature monitoring to ensure safe operation within normal temperature range.

Q: Can any battery of the same size be used to power the device?
A: Not all batteries of the same size or specification are suitable. It is recommended to check the battery's rated current and ensure it matches the maximum operating current of the device.

Q: Can I use batteries from different brands together?

A: DO NOT mix the batteries of different brands. It is recommended to use original batteries purchased through authorized channels to ensure optimal product performance.

Q: What if my product needs maintenance or repair?

A: DO NOT disassemble or modify the product. For service or replacement, please contact NITECORE®.

Mosquito Protection

Q: Why does the product fail to activate at first use?

A: 1. For a product with a built-in battery, please charge it before first use.

2. For a product powered by external power sources, please ensure that the power source and the connecting cable is connected properly.

3. Please ensure the product is turned on correctly.

Q: When should the mosquito repellent mat be replaced?

A: The mat should be replaced after 6 hours of use or when it changes color.

Q: Can I use mosquito repellent mats from different brands?

A: You can use mosquito mats of compatible size (please refer to the user manual), but the effectiveness will depend on factors such as the mat's formulation and active ingredient content.

Q: Can I take the device on a plane?
A: Mosquito repellers without built-in Li-ion batteries can be carried on planes without restriction. Devices with built-in Li-ion batteries must comply with local airline regulations.

A: 1. The product may be in lockout mode. Please try to unlock (refer to the user manual)

2. The battery power may be low. Please charge it before first use.

Q: Why does the product make noise during operation?

A: This is normal. During normal operation, the fan runs at high speed and the internal motor operates rapidly.

Q: Why is there no mist after turning on the mist function?

A: 1. Please check if there is adequate water in the Water Tank.

2. Avoid tilting the product excessively during handheld use to ensure proper water supply.

Q: Why are there water droplets leaking after turning on the mist function?

A: The product produces a significant amount of mist. If water droplets accumulate around the mist outlet, wipe them off promptly to prevent water from entering the fan or dripping onto your hands.

Q: Why is the airflow still low even when set to the highest speed?
A: 1. Ensure the battery power is sufficient.
